Even the smartest person on earth can experience issues facing technology. Whether it is piloting an aircraft, selecting the right washing machine program, or just simply figuring out the right light switch to turn on.
That exactly why I studied Human Computer Interaction. Trying to figure how to make people life easier, and how to design and create technology that seems so natural that you forget how complicated there are.
But of course, technology isn’t only about pragmatic needs. You don’t choose a car just because it can drive you from a location to another. You choose a car because you like how it looks, its comfort, or because it reminds you good memories. That’s User Experience.
User Experience isn’t an exact science. It can vary a lot from a person to another. It is a key discipline that requires knowledge in design, psychology, computer science, sociology. That’s what I love about it. It brings together my background in development, my passion for arts and design and my interest for psychology.

Byblos is a puzzle game for mobile devices (Android). The purpose of the game is simple, the player has to move spheres on corresponding tiles (identified with symbols), in a limited amount of time. The player can only move up, right, down or left. If there is several spheres on the board they are moving altogether. Throughout the game, some obstacles and special tiles will appear.
This project is currently in development since a year. We are a small team: 2 developers (myself included) and a composer, and we are developing on our spare time. We expect to release the game during the upcoming year.

Circle UI is an interactive TV interface concept. Within the interface everything is gathered arround a central circle, which is the heart of the experience. The design of the user interface goes with a circular touch interaction, similar to the one of the iPod.
The concept of circle was born from multiple studies with users. I worked for 1 year and a half for a remote control manufacturor. During this period I conducted several user experience studies, with innovative remote and UI. There wasn't a study where I didn't heard "You should do something like Apple with the iPod". So that's what I did.
